Hi there. I'm Sammy, it's nice to meet you!

I spent the last 3 1/2 years as stem cell biologist. Which, on paper, sounds impressive. In reality, I was white-knuckling my way through every single day...forcing myself into rigid schedules, struggling for motivation, beating myself up because I felt like I wasn't doing enough, and coming home so exhausted I could barely function.

I didn't know I had ADHD. I just thought there was something seriously wrong with me (like, medically quite wrong). But then...

At 24, I was diagnosed through the NHS Right to Choose pathway with ADHD (and I do have TikTok to thank for that). And honestly? It didn't fix everything. But it explained everything.

The chronic time management issues (sorry mum and dad), the ambition of an Olympic athlete...but the motivation of a potato, and my very apparent lack of emotional regulation skills.

Fast forward 2 years and an ADHD medication titration later, I finally had the energy to think about how unhappy I was in a "conventional" work system. I realised I was trying so hard to fit myself into a box that I just couldn't force myself into (and spending all of my energy trying to cover it up).

So in 2025 I did the, what some people would describe as "terrifying", thing and built something for myself...The Hyper Collective.

And in February 2026, I did an even more supposedly "terrifying" thing...I quit my job as a Scientist.

Why The Hyper Collective Exists

When I was first diagnosed, there were already long waitlists for ADHD medication, so I went looking for tools to help me out in the void between knowing I had ADHD, and getting medication for it.

But my search came up short, and I realised that there really isn't a lot of support for ADHD - especially for late-diagnosed women like myself. And any tools out there were clearly not made by someone with ADHD...they were just pretending they understood the struggle.

Fast forward to now, and the gap between realising you might have ADHD, and getting the treatment you deserve is getting a whole lot wider.

The Hyper Collective exists because that gap was ridiculous and someone needed to fill it.

This isn't a productivity brand. It's a community brand built to help people like me, with real tools designed to make life living with ADHD in a Neurotypical world just that little bit easier.

Our Mission

At The Hyper Collective, we are driven by a simple yet powerful purpose: to help individuals with ADHD to thrive in a world not always designed for them.

We are dedicated to designing innovative, practical and life-enhancing products with neurodivergent individuals in mind, aiming to alleviate the unique stresses experienced by those with ADHD.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between the way you are, and the way you want to be.
